she could also be entertainer on music career because theres lots of music related bella things like her photo on disc covers in older sims games
and theres also lots of mentions of her using seance table or interacting with paranormal things so she may have gotten more into that and become paranormal investigator
or since she is worshipped by alien maybe she took her life to space as astronaut or something hmn?
As for Mortimer he is scientist in my game due to that being his job in older games but I think he will pursue writing in his elder years to go with his ts4 career choice
