Ooh, I selected the wrong one! It won't let me change my vote, either. I'm more of a combination of the two, in analyzing what the question was asking. I don't kick out Sims from the neighborhood, nor do I actively play them. I prefer to create my own characters. I often build houses for my own Sims, too. Sometimes I delete a premmade house so I can use the lot. Once in a great while, I'll go to the trouble of changing the neighborhood, as in I'll remove the library, lounge, museum and put houses on said lots. (For those I'll pull from the Gallery.) I have totally made Newcrest into a hot spot, eateries, lounges, et al.
But that takes a great deal of time. I'd rather be playing the game itself.
