What life span do you play with and do you use MCC to change the length of days each generation lives for in your game. If you don’t use MCC : -Short-Normal-Long if you use MCC how many days per generation (eg. Child 7, teen 14 etc)Are you planning on changing it when discovering university comes out? I’m wondering whether I should make my lifespan longer bc of university.

Normal. I wish I could make the YA phase longer though.

Normal when playing a sim that I control on sims 4 PS4 edition, but when controlling the whole town I set it to long or turn it off.When playing on PC I set it to custom settings thanks to mods; thus they live as long as humans, human average life span is 80 years, each sim day is a year. lolIf your gonna have your sim at a university; I'd recommend turn off aging or set it to long until the sim is done.

I set it to long but almost always end up turning it off and coming up with a set of rules to age my children (much like the 100 baby challenge rules) because I get too attached to the families I make and take so much time making their dynamics exactly what I want.

Game set to long, Two week calendar seasons and I also have MCCC time cycle set on 35 to make the days just a little longer as well.

I play with aging Off because when I first started playing The Sims 4 my sim grew old in the blink of an eye (it felt like it anyway). She didn't even get a chance to date! All the eligible bachelors were getting snapped up right in front of her and then in the next blink she was elderly and then.... It was all very tragic (and my fault because I was so slow.). ;)

Long, the others are too short. Probably could fiddle with MCCC but I'm too lazy.

I’ve never messed around with MCC too much in regards to making days last longer, can somebody explain this a little to me as this might be helpful for me?

Thank you. I keep switching between Normal and Long and wondered what happens once my couple age to Adult.

If I remember correctly, Young Adult was a specific age for University attendees only in TS2! It reflected the ability to WooHoo (as Teens couldn't) but wasn't quite the responsible Adult stage...Sims who didn't bother with Uni went from Teen straight to Adult...

Aging off. I like having control when to age my sims. I use birthday cake and or for elders I turn aging on for them to pass.

I am a rotational and family player so I want my sims to live a lot ... and I made something clever-each day in my gameplay is 3 months so every four days are one year. That way I can know their age (I have a list of any day in their lifespan and the age it represent). and they can live a lot. so I set my days for my gameplay.
Baby-8 days (2 years)
Toddler-19 days (5 years)
Child - 23 days (6 years)
Teen - 19 days (5 years)
Ya - 96 days (24 years)
Adult - 79 days (20 years)
Elder- the rest lol?

I play with aging off and I age sims up after a certain number of years with seasons.

I don't use MCC. So far I've played normal and long - long seems too long... and normal seems slightly too short. xD I need a happy in the middle.
