Custom. I find Normal too short but long too long. Seasons has made me tweak my old life-span, so it's even longer. children and teens are almost double what I had it set at. I tried really hard to come up with a formula that used seasons, and make years but I gave up. I'm pretty happy with the way I have it currently set up and if I feel like I want to spend a little more time with a sim, I temporarily turn aging off.
