My main save is a legacy, so I'm always more than ready for the next life stage (the kids and teens basically exist so that I can come around to the babies and toddlers again). The toddler and kid stages seem to be just about right for everything they need to learn at those stages. I get a bit tired of the teen stage - it could be several days shorter - but I don't get all that attached to individual Sims.
