What makes gameplay enjoyable to you?
Sorry if you see so many posts from me...just still in the hospital bored I found that if I document my sims lives and take pictures to keep share their story I find it more interesting to play

Like others, I tend to make up a storyline and go for it. Right now I'm rotating between three families:
The Thornes (Tristan and Yvaine) -- they just moved out to Tristan's great-great uncle's old farm which Tristan mysteriously inherited. It has a bouse and a barn but both were pretty much gutted while the house sat vacant so they have to furnish and decorate while getting the rarm started. Tristan is currently a secret agent but once Seasons launches he'll be quitting his job to start the Gardening career, likely the Botanist branch. Yvaine is in the Business career but supplements her income with painting, and will do floral arranging as a hobby as well. They have twin boys, Ashton and Albert -- Ashton is going to be the good son while Albert is a holy terror (I named Albert after my older brother hee hee hee :D ).
The O'Dourkes (Liam and Cali) -- Cali West ran away from Roaring Heights to escape an arranged marriage, and settled in San Myshuno with the twenty thousand Simoleons her family lawyer was able to sneak out of the trust account. She met and became friends with Liam O'Dourke, and that friendship quickly blossomed into romance after she aged up. I'm planning a semi legacy to complete as many collections as possible over the generations; she's already completed the city poster collection and is one snowglobe away from that collection. Liam and Cali have one child so far, daughter Selena who will be the heir and stay in the family home to continue working on the collections. I may have to cheat the special ones (eggs, skulls, Plantsim berries) but I'll do that after I finish all the others.
The Clines (Gerald and Danielle) -- Brother and sister that are sharing a house in Oasis Springs while raising Vela, Geralds daughter from alien abduction. No real storyline just yet.
Oh and I just had an idea of a fourth family -- in homor of Pride I'm going to create a transgender couple, one female to male but he can still get pregnant, the other female to male so can still impregnate (they're waiting for surgery till they have their family). I'll start them in a San Myshuno apartment then they can move on to a house in Willow Creek or Newcrest, or possibly Brindleton Bay.
