What makes your Sim better at fighting?

For xth time.

There is no fighting skill in Sims 4. Yet.
All fights have random outcome.

See my post above yours, it didn't help. I got her all the way to fitness level 10 using the punching bag, didn't help at all. She had the option to practice fighting (I think it was called that) and didn't help her win.

OK thanks for the info so now I won't waste time on that. I wish it was more like the past Sim games and be based on skills like martial arts and fitness but it seems like the uncontrolled Sims are just beast at fighting.

hmm. im level 10 at fitness and i did practice battle with my sim friend, i lost one practice fighting, and the next one i won, but when i met a mean girl she was mean with my sim and had to fight with her and i always won, i dont know why

Well I’ve learned that in order to win a fight someone else must start it. Every time you start it you seem to lose so being mean until that person starts the fight is what I do

I always though it was the sim with the highest athletics that won. I've had sims win fights, but I also haven't tried that action in a very long time. Maybe one of the expansions changed something.

This is a very old thread, back in 2014 when it was started, fights weren't dependent on fitness but they have been for a good few years now.

Funnily enough i only really fight with my female sims, i think it makes me angry when someone insults "my girl" so of course I have her beat them up. Townies tend not to work out, so she ends up teaching them a few manners.

Particularly true of my Alien sims, since I don't believe in using disguise, and there's quite a lot of townies who are prejudiced about our kind /slap !

I think only vampires can be stronger than other sims, the rest of the fights are just random.
