I only want more story packs if they make the stories more open, variable and interesting.
- I'd totally love medieval and apocalyptic, if just for the peak aesthetics, buildings, outfits or items they could provide. They'd be fantastic for making up my own stories.
- The mystery packs could be fun if the mysteries, victims, suspects and clues were all randomized, so we'd get a new experience each time.
- Castaway stories could also be fun, even without a good story, because the premise alone is solid - and it would be an instant buy for me if they bring back the chimpanzee pets from the original Castaway game.
- I'm not feeling a Sci-Fi/alien story since we just got one. And unless we can settle down and colonize on a planet, or explore space in-depth, it's going to be the pack I'm least interested in.
- Pirates, I'm iffy on. I love pirates, I'd love to explore the high seas, and I would love to have my sims live on a houseboat or pirate ship. But to make the best out of this pack, I think we'd need a basic combat system for swashbuckling. No choosing between two options and hoping luck is on our side. Pirating isn't as fun or interesting if you're not living adventurously, and all the sea life stuff could be implemented better in different packs.
- Full yes to magic mystery, if it gives us witches and magical powers. If our sims are normal though, what's the point? But I think a magical story pack would be great, since all the occult sims (and the creatures they're based on) have so much potential for interesting stories. (As an aside, I'd die for a magical school pack.)
