Hi guys, I like to know that I really like the packs I am about to get as I am not a big spender and I only buy when packs are on sale. Currently I have Get to Work, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living and High School Years. I am looking for an EP that is worth the money with lots of CAS and Build mode items. I am not looking for Occult packs but I am maybe looking at For Rent or Get Together?
I would love to hear your Personal Opinions and what you have purchased.

freypan I'd personally stir clear of For Rent till they fix the bugs associated with it.
I love Get together. Sill one of my favorite packs. The world is huge. I like the Djs/Dancing. The little games it adds (Darts, arcade, Don't wake llama, etc), new party invites. And it's big feature Clubs. Clubs are really what you make of them. I like to use them a lot for my kid and Teen sims to make friends. You can use them to keep track of extended family. Set up clubs to see certain sims at a specific lot. It's just a versatile system.
Other packs I would recommend is Seasons, Growing together, and this one is divisive but Island living.
As always I would also say wait for a sale. Do not buy packs especially old ones at full price. Best way to feel like you got your money's worth. There is a sale going on right now.

I would definitely vote for Get Together. Windenburg is probably the best world offered in TS4, being larger than most and very pretty. Good CAS and Build/Buy and nice townies. It offers dancing and DJing as skills plus the Clubs system.

freypan I don't have Get Together, but I love For Rent. The functionality is an issue, for sure, but since Businesses and Hobbies came out I've been more interested in the Small Business Residental lot type, which conflits with Residental Rental anyway. For Rent has some Build/Buy that I use constantly, and the world has a lot to do in it: shopping in the night market, fishing, swimming, collecting, exploring.
If you like Cottage Living and Cats and Dogs, I'd also recommend Horse Ranch. I use mini sheep and mini goats more often than horses, llamas, or cows, and the world is really beautiful and a different kind of outdoorsy.
I'd also second the suggestion of Growing Together for CAS and Build/Buy.
