What Powers/Weaknesses do you want to see for werewolves?

While i read three posts here in the forums and some posts in other places. I'm still curious as to what Powers/Weaknesses can werewolves have for their tree if they ever get one for TS4.

Also, what do you think about adding timed Powers/Weaknesses to the tree so its like, You buy one of the options and it after a while it times out and gets disabled so you have to buy it again or spend more point and buy it permanently?

Awesome list @MasonGamer ! You presented what you wanted in such a good way that it feels like you are showcasing your ideas to a game production design team lol.

    • Wolf Form - The power to turn into an actual Customizable Playable Wolf (Cats and Dogs NOT Required)

It will probably REQUIRE Cats an Dogs tho. I can't see how EAxis would make that possible separately without using most of the resources they should spend on other parts of the pack.

Thanks, the Howl was a funny moment when I saw Teen Wolf 2010, Scott McCall tries to Lure His Alpha into a trap and Howls to call him.
and the other Beta in the Pack hears the Howl, and is genuinely offended by Scott's attempt.

you're right, the resources are now there, and might as well put it to better use.
I think it's a smart move to rip the resources from C&D and plant them in Werewolves, you give them a taste and if you want to customize your Wolf Form and say you want your Wolf form to be a Corgi or a Terrier, or any other Breed then you need to buy the Expansion, otherwise Werewolves will only have the one Wolf Breed

I personally would not want to have any weaknesses associating with Vampires just because I'd like to have both species interacting in ways that aren't necessarily fighting or arguing all the time. Would it be too much of a stretch to have a strength where they still retain human awareness in wolf form though?

I'm still trying to understand what you mean by this.

I would like to see the ranking system for werewolves similar to vampires.

Different food sources, werewolve book lore and battles (substituting the original fighting animation with new animations), food craving buffs, faster building of fitness skill, social need decays slower, telepathy, mood sensing, longer lifespan, enhanced speed and intelligence.

@Bagoas77 Vampires are usually represented as wise and literate, while werewolves are represented as "out of their minds", wild, etc ... Vampire lore books makes sense in the first case, werewolve lore books does not make sense in the second case, maybe they can implement another way to get werewolve knowledge. Maybe they could have werewolve lore books, but less books than the vampires had, and the other points in werewolve knowledge skill could be gained in practice rather than theory.
  • I made a thread once where i saw an entire possibility of more than just werewolves, but a whole wereanimal thing. With weremammals, wereinsects, werereptiles, wereamphibians, wereplants (simplants?), and werefungi... The would have similar powers, but each category would have its own animations and some powers that would focus on their "natural elements", etc... I hope that we at least get some variety this time with a werecat as well... but... never know!

Hmm... That same claim can be argued for Werewolves, represented as Wise and Literate, and Vampires: psychotic, Soulless, necrophiliacs.
Werewolves, are only out of their minds and wild, when they don't have control or understand themselves.
Vampires, they become Daemons from the moment they lose their mortal side.

Now, perhaps it could be Instinct in the moment of and in the heat of events, and other Werewolves of higher levels from Deltas onto Alphas, unto Betas, and to the Omegas, who pass on their knowledge and Secrets over time.

Online Research... Most could be true, but some stuff could Get a Hunter, in trouble when trying to Slay/Cure a Werewolf.
I still think Three Lore books, Online Research, a Bestiary, Instinct, and Common Knowlege is enough... One book short but it's enough.
Werewolves are just as complex, if not, more than Vampires.

I mean that they can still interact with Sims like a normal Sim would, just with optional werewolf socials added to that. Not sure how I managed to somehow not get that across, apologies for any misunderstanding.
