What Stuff Pack Should I Buy?

Hard pick if you don't have any! Also depends on how much use you'll get out of it and how you play your game.

Spooky Day was pretty useless when it came out, BUT it pairs well with Seasons very nicely and sims will use the candy bowl autonomously too.

Hot tubs I always use and plop in a pool lot as well which sims will use autonomously and you can make a nice little backyard for your sims, so it doesn't look so 'bleh'. Backyard stuff also pairs well with perfect patio. I love the new drink tray to mix drinks and windchime. CAS is really great for that summery vibe and clothing to it.

Movie Hangout I use a lot and my sims do too since they'll sometimes look at a movie while I don't direct them too. Plus you have a new popcorn maker to go along with that and some large jumbo movie screens you can use outside or just make a theater on a community lot. I do like the boho like CAS items and some I can use pretty casually.

Toddler and Kids Room stuff is good if you're a family player and want more things for your sim spawns to do, which is very good. Plus, more items to decorate my younger sims rooms plus better clothing helped out. Also get a new tween channel and tween music station. Void Critters game is pretty fun for children to play. In the toddler pack, I really like the clothes plus you can have a playdate event as then there's an actual slide for them. Something that fits perfectly in a backyard or a playroom inside. :3

Vintage Glamour is good if you have some rich and high class sims who you wanna give a butler too. The decor is very chic and beautiful. CAS is pretty weak, but you also get a functioning vanity table and juice globe.

Bowling Night. YEP IT'S BOWLING. New Venue and decent hangout spots for sims. Small cas, but I love the hairstyles and male jeans that comes with this along with the female top. The furniture is probably the bigger highlight of this pack.

Laundry day I thought I'd dislike more, but all the decor and furniture is great for rustic and country theme. Have a clothes line for my sims tha tlive on a farm, but it rains so much their laundry never gets done, derp.

Fitness stuff has a very nice CAS for more modern workout attire. The furniture in this pack is very modern and nice and I think I enjoy the new workout videos for your tv to just workout at home. I put that big honking treadmill wall in a gym and they will use it.

My first pet? Probably the only time to buy it when it's on sale if you really want a cute hamster and a new gruesome death. Everything else? Meh.

Perfect Patio, Backyard Stuff and Movie Hangout are my picks. :)

Buy all the stuff packs! You know you got Christmas money you are just going to spend on plum you don't need anyway.

If you really can only buy 1, I suggest you do a forum search for "what stuff pack" and "which stuff pack"; there have been about 5 threads just like this in the past few weeks and they have some very good answers from the community.

I vote for Laundry Day, but your best bet would be to go to simsvip and look at each of their stuff pack guides,; look at all of the listed CAS and BB items in each...and pick the one that appeals to YOU. Callout to @simgirl1010 for this advice, because iirc it's her advice from some of the other threads and I think it is the best advice.

I picked Vintage Glamour because I think it goes super well with the mansions and celebs in GF and the items are just really beautiful and a bit different.

I also really enjoyed Perfect Patio because of Hot tubs and I like the 'rural' styles that come with Laundry Day.

I suppose you need to think about what kind of family you want to play next and what might enhance that :)

All I know is I think My First Pet, Toddler and Kids stuff is a waste of time for me - I don't think kids/toddlers are that age long enough to warrant spending all that money on them. But if you really like playing with big families and loads of kids then its worth it for you! I spend much more of my time focusing on teens and adults.

Pfft, not bad advice. It's rare to see stuff packs on sale, especially at this price.

I do get use out of all of them. :p

I love the Kids Room pack. It brings the kids so much more to life.

@Stormkeep You are probably right! As I am sure once those prices come back up - there is a 100% chance I will not be buying it with the original price. Tempted to buy a good eight stuff packs lol

I agree that you should check out the SimsVIP or Carl guides and reviews if you haven't already done so. Every player is different after all so what packs you prefer will really depend on your play style. I chose Laundry Day because it offers lots of great content and suits my family play style. However, I also love Vintage Glamour, Romantic Garden, Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen, Kids Room, and Toddler stuff just as much.

You should be able to purchase multiple packs at once using the add to cart feature through the Sims online store unless this has changed? I remember doing this a while back during an Origin sale.

@Finbar659 Yah..the origin app has no shopping cart, it's SO silly. Like @annaliese39 said though, if you purchase through the sims online store instead (or from directly within the game's start menu screen) there IS a cart. Both still use Origin, it's just a different place to make the purchase. Just something to remember in a year or three when you're catching up on packs during a good sale again. :)
