why didnt they do this when the sims4 was in the beginning?
I wouldnt mind having to buy a good PC to have
open neighbourhood without loading screens
story Progression
big Worlds (i am Looking at you de small valley)
Create a Style
no they didnt and now they see their mistakes but its too late, because we cant even visit our neigbours without loading screens for ''performance'' reasons. We have a L.A inspired World without cars but it is small because of ''performance''.
I think creating a Game for low end PC was a mistake. I mean do you see the bugs? Simulation Lag is still a Thing...
Oh well...
That's Your perspective. I don't see it as a mistake to leave any of that out. There's not much I miss about sims 3. Don't miss open world. Don't miss CAS, Don't miss big worlds. And sure as heck don't miss their version of Sp which ruined how some of us rotational players play our games.
I'd prefer a whole lot of sim fixing that they ruined when going from 2 to 3. If they are going to do anything with eliminating support for 32 bit, I hope it's to do with the background sim AI and make it more like 2.
Don't need no open world. Don't need no SP, and don't need no CASt. The CAS in sims 4 is the best yet. And I don't need to recolour the furniture. There's lots of cc out there that fill my wants and needs. And so far, it all loads great compared to anything I ever did using CASt.
I'd like to have CASt for furniture - in so much as to give more color/texture options, it doesn't need me to be able to choose every color and texture under the sun, just more options. It's so hard to have Sims have different looking houses but have the best quality items because there's just so little choice available for color or style. The game should be able to stand on it's own and have some variety without needing CC. CC should be something that's purely optional and not required in order to enjoy the game.
I don't mind Story Progression, but that one is a personal preference. And I'd say better at this point to be discussed for a Sims 5 than for adding to Sims 4. And I'm someone who plays rotational a lot in Sims 2, but just one lot in Sims 3.
I wish they had it so you could visit any of the lots in that neighborhood area instead of needing to do a loading screen to get to that lot even though you can have your Sim go right up to the door of that lot otherwise.
But yes, if it was CASt, a more open world, or better AI, I'd choose better AI. Because maybe a better AI would be better able to show the differences in how Sims react to being angry with different traits. Not everyone who is angry yells and stomps. Some people cry. Some people just bottle it up inside and internally process the anger.
Edit to add: And yes, any Story Progression they add for Sims 5, needs to actually work. I use NRaas Story Progression in Sims 3 so that there is actual meaningful progression.
