If it were my simworld, I'd let it stand, move Evie to my Honored Dead cemetery, then have whoever loved her most release her spirit to the netherworld—my sims' religion includes the belief that the dead don't get the good afterlife unless the living prove to the Watcher their love for the departed sim.
