What To Do About Evie Delgato...? An Unfortunate Death. *Conclusion @ Bottom of Pg. 1*

@Daephene I have planned to do the same with my ghosts! But I don't play them often, so haven't really progressed yet. The only problem I have with this system is that if I resurrect the sim I then don't want them to have those reward traits. Would love if ghosts got an overhaul that included a different kind of needs system.

Strange. Teenage sims going through mood swings are an exception to the rule where emotions that severe don't cause them to die from it. How is it this sim died from being mortified?

I think I had had already aged everyone up prior to sending them off to the festival.
Technically she was a YA. She was already embarrassed and then her bladder failed at the festival.

Lilly was at the Uni dorm in H-o-B and got a call from her dad asking if she wanted to come and visit.
She accepted and traveled back to the prep school.

It had been a semester since Lilly had been back to the prep school to visit, so it's been a while since she's seen her dad.

Lilly was reluctant at first.

It was getting late, Lilly would be having to leave soon as she had class early the next morning.

I'm genuinely not sure if the seance had anything to do with her coming back or if it was just a coincidence that she appeared shortly after.

After sending Lilly back to the dorm I cheated and added Evie to Allen's family so that way she wouldn't be culled.

I attempted to move Evie's urn from inside to outside. I wanted to make a little memorial for her by the greenhouse.
It seemed like the game didn't want me to do that for some reason...

I would have just not saved the game. But if you were expecting to play her I would say resurrect her. I don’t care for the die of laughter or of embarrassment…… it should have just been a bad moodlet that lasted a long time. But then, I like a little more realistic play. I micromanage my sims and haven’t had this happen yet.

Actually, I thought it was realistic - this would be the situation in which a person (especially a young person) would want to disappear into the floor or 'curl up and die'. (Of course, a better solution would be to have a cry with your best girlfriends, who would fix you right up.)

I was surprised to learn she died of an emotional death. It was my understanding this can't happen to a Teen, since their emotions are all over the place! My answer, which is now too late to consider, would have been to roll back a save to keep her from dying.
