What To Do With Adult Sims…

So I’m doing the not so berry challenge. And I always get sort of bored in that in between stage when the next gen is a teen and the parents are adults or elders and are complete with their goals. I never know what to do with the parents. They are elders now too so I know it’s a little limited. I have started the teen on their own stuff but it’s yellow gen so they pretty much just need to skill build and stuff until they can move out. So what do You guys do when you hit this stage to keep things going? Any suggestions? I do have slice of life so whenever a family or friend call to invite them over or out to places I accept but that doesn’t happen often.
  • Hobbies! Knitting, cross-stitch, woodwork, painting, fishing, cycling, yoga.

Taking up something new they've never done before, like baking or skiing.

Also maintaining relationships better and going out places with friends and family.

    Holidays in another world.
  • Have the parents reconnect and go out on dates! Maybe you have Sims who love to dance, take them dancing. Create a group who love to play cards, or Don't Wake The Llama and set a once-a-week date to play it. Have them go out to dinner. Life doesn't end when the kids grow up, or at least it shouldn't.
  • Give them a midlife crisis and have them go to Batuu and fight for opposing sides and have them bring home souvenirs for the kids.
