- mightyspritesimsRising HotshotI have fun building every so often, but usually only when there's a gameplay reason to have a certain kind of lot. I stay in CAS only as long as I have to.
- moppy14wSeasoned NewcomerBut mostly GamePlay. I do love to create characters, build (or at least funrish) them a house, play for a while and then rinse and repeat... over and over
- PhantasmKissNew SpectatorGameplay was my favorite part of previous Sims versions, but for all the stuff they've given us, I get bored of Sims 4 very quickly. I can, however, build forever.
- SharoooniaNew SpectatorGameplay, the other two modes I do mostly so my gameplay can look nice.
- SEREFRASSeasoned VeteranI'm a variety player with variety packs.
- I am a mix. I started off as a builder with the Sims 1, then became a gameplay player with the Sims 2. The Sims 3 got me into CAS more, but with the Sims 4 I'm mostly a gameplay player, but I enjoy building too and I dabbled in making my own CC recolors, so I'm apart of the modding/content creator community too. My first CC I made was for my Sims 1 with attempting a self Sim and the photo mapping never worked right with that game when inputting your photos in, but I did love the external CAS tools the Sims 1 and 2 had. The beauty of the first Sims CAS external tool, the Sims creator:

I make and play with all my own sims (for the most part; I download filler townies rather than let the game generate them), but I lose interest in CAS right around deciding swimwear. I’m not a builder; I follow a few builders and place their lots into my game.
- I do tend to obsess over building my worlds to fit my purposes and eventually i want to fill them all with my own stuff
and I do fancy some cas too though i do find it bit tedious and uninspiring at times and i mostly add premades from other games and occults
but its really all in preparation of when i get to gameplay... hardly ever build/cas anything unless its to play with what I've created
also it kind of depends on game too
i tend to enjoy cas more when theres strange alternative/themey stuff like with urbz,medieval.. even ts2,ts1... normal everyday wear is just kinda hard to get excited over i guess
even if all else is much improved - Kyr0eNew SpectatorPretty much a "Swiss Army Simmer".
- DoloresGreySeasoned NewcomerI need to be in the right mood to be in CAS or b&b otherwise it feels like a must be done chore and then the outcome is awful.
