I'm playing 100 baby and I can't age them up because the cake is not working half the time. If it works they go out the front door walk all the way around the house and then age up. Or it doesn't work at all. I've tried 3 times with one child and she won't age up. Plus I'm afraid if she does she'll do it 3 times and be an elder. Also everything seems delayed, like the aging instead of just aging up they do the walk around house thing. They finish something but it doesn't acknowledge it for a couple of minutes. And that goes for everything. They stop what they are doing in the middle of it. Like giving a toddler a bath they jump up before the bath is done and the toddler runs to another room naked and then flashes back into moms arms by the tub spins and is dressed. I'm doing a lot of screaming at this game lately.

The aging has been bugged since the first november patch. They're changed something with the code and it's not working probably.

If you move the cake to the centre of a counter, that usually works. It can't be on the edge, on a table or on a counter that you can pull up stools to, it can only be a regular shaped counter, I've even had problems with the centre of corner counters. If the room is too small though, they will walk all over the house looking for space to age up still. Hopefully they just fix it next patch.

The platform update broke aging as now the game thinks there isn't enough space inside to do the aging spin in most houses. Either age your sims up outside, on another lot with high ceilings or if you can use mods, use LitleMsSam's bug fix.Platforms also broke some stairs. And they somehow managed to break Father Winter as well in the same update. If he hasn't caused your game to crash yet remove Father Winter from the Winterfest traditions so he doesn't.Do they not play test anymore?

Why do they keep breaking the game? I'm so upset. First I can't play 100 baby because you can't age them up by cake, it's broke. Now my Judge can't make ruling it doesn't register anymore. It was working fine a few times and then it just stopped.

Here I thought Father Winter was just being lazy, but instead EA just broke him.

The latest update has only broken ALL custom skins and skintones in CAS. In my case a mere 1 Gig or so gone blown away useless no longer shown or available in CAS.
Well done EA\Maxis code goats. You are no longer any kind of guru in my eyes.

That was already happening for a lot of people. I "stay on it" and cancel their action when they go to make a second meal. Then I send them to eat what they've already made and put away any extras. I always send them to get leftovers before they get too hungry. Doing it like this, I'm having very little problem with the cooking.

Although I did briefly play the Landgraabs recently (only because I wanted to increase their money and get them to start a restaurant) and they - especially Nancy - would NOT stop going outside to the BBQ and just cooking, cooking, cooking on the grill. I was mainly playing Malcolm, so I wasn't controlling Nancy. And there were darn hamburgers everywhere.

Wow!! My sim had a baby and when she aged her up she had to introduce herself to her own child before she could talk or do anything else.

Well, they do say very clearly in several places that they do not support mods or cc and that you play at your own risk with that stuff. This patch was solely about skin tone changes and make up so I am not surprised that your custom skintones aren't working.

More issues, I keep replacing the kava bowl because green smoke keeps coming out of it. Even new ones never used. And my sims are dropping Q's like hot potatoes. Even when I only put two things they drop it. And harvesting is messed up again. I can only harvest one PLANT at a time. I'm going from saved game to saved game trying to find one where everything is ok. It's getting harder.

I hit that one yesterday. I couldn't figure out why my sim couldn't potty train her kid because I was trying to initiate it by clicking on the potty chair. Clicked on the kid and "hey, that's weird!"

As for the autonomous cooking bug, got that one too...took my eye off a sim for a bit and next thing I knew a sim who couldn't get Mac and cheese right leveled all the way up to 7 in the Cooking skill! Good for him, I say.

I learned a long time ago to just roll with all but the absolute most game-breaking bugs to keep myself from getting too many red moodlets IRL.
