I'm playing 100 baby and I can't age them up because the cake is not working half the time. If it works they go out the front door walk all the way around the house and then age up. Or it doesn't work at all. I've tried 3 times with one child and she won't age up. Plus I'm afraid if she does she'll do it 3 times and be an elder. Also everything seems delayed, like the aging instead of just aging up they do the walk around house thing. They finish something but it doesn't acknowledge it for a couple of minutes. And that goes for everything. They stop what they are doing in the middle of it. Like giving a toddler a bath they jump up before the bath is done and the toddler runs to another room naked and then flashes back into moms arms by the tub spins and is dressed. I'm doing a lot of screaming at this game lately.

The aging has been bugged since the first november patch. They're changed something with the code and it's not working probably.

If you move the cake to the centre of a counter, that usually works. It can't be on the edge, on a table or on a counter that you can pull up stools to, it can only be a regular shaped counter, I've even had problems with the centre of corner counters. If the room is too small though, they will walk all over the house looking for space to age up still. Hopefully they just fix it next patch.

The platform update broke aging as now the game thinks there isn't enough space inside to do the aging spin in most houses. Either age your sims up outside, on another lot with high ceilings or if you can use mods, use LitleMsSam's bug fix.Platforms also broke some stairs. And they somehow managed to break Father Winter as well in the same update. If he hasn't caused your game to crash yet remove Father Winter from the Winterfest traditions so he doesn't.Do they not play test anymore?

Why do they keep breaking the game? I'm so upset. First I can't play 100 baby because you can't age them up by cake, it's broke. Now my Judge can't make ruling it doesn't register anymore. It was working fine a few times and then it just stopped.

Here I thought Father Winter was just being lazy, but instead EA just broke him.

I'm lucky I can play a computer game. Because usually I break them if I go anywhere near them. So no, I know nothing about how to do cheats and I don't use mods or CC although I wish it was easy so I could. I quit the game repaired it and went back in. He put him down. BUT, he couldn't play or anything until he introduced himself to his own child. It seems like EA go's in fixes one issue and breaks 2. Then goes in to fix those and breaks 4 more. One step forward and two steps back. I think I'll go and read a book now.

Maybe try the resetsim cheat the next time a sim gets stuck. It's really good to know. All you have to do is follow the instruction the other simmer posted and that sim will immediately stop what he/she is doing.

I'm very bad with computers. I have a MacBook Air, so all I have to do is click on a icon. Thats the only reason I even have a computer. I tried using the money cheat a couple of times but I could not get it to work. I don't know what i did wrong. I had the steps written down but it just wasn't working. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. I once took an aptitude test. In logic I scored 97 out of 100. And in the 90's for 3 other but in Mechanical (How things work, like computers ) I scored 27, yes 27 I'm that bad with them.

With everything going wrong and not working, I decided to start a new save playing something I haven't played for a while. Actress. She picks a gig. Get level 2 in guitar, done, but not checked off so she failed audition. Picked a new gig, get level 2 in comedy, done, but not checked off. tried a 3rd time with get comedy level to 2. She's now at 3 and its not checked off. So now there's no point playing this if she can't even start her career by passing an audition.

They might have fixed stuff in the latest update (today's). But, they broke stuff too. The house is on fire and the firemen come but don't put out the fire. Had to exit game without saving. The game is not counting friends in child aspirations. I had to get all new ones even thought she already knew enough. And Now when I go to work with one sim and come back home EVERYBODY"S needs are tanked. And when I am in build mode and I'm moving bathroom stuff to another room by putting it all in inventory. Almost all of it vanished, I had to backtrack to get it back and then carry each item two floors down.

A couple more things that bug me. When my kids take pictures WITH, it's so close you can only get part of their face. And for the last month or so, EVERY baby born in game becomes very fat when they become teenagers. And I mean very, I have them working out and at level 6 their still very fat. And that's with me never letting their food bar fill all the way up. I stop it just before it's full., from the time they became toddlers. And both parents are fit and thin. And yet the game makes them huge. Once in a while, ok. But every child every time is too much. I like playing with nice looking sims.
