What's Hazard Tape?

Really?? So what's the point? What do you use it for?

As far as I know it is used on sound stages to keep Sims from entering certain areas during filming. I have never used it in a build but I never built a sound stage lot. James Turner used it in his Bigwallet series. He built a sound stage at home for his Sim who was an actor. Anyway if you do the acting career and go on acting gigs it is used at the studio in front of the stage. It adds a sense of realism. I don't think the Sims can walk though it like some low borders in build mode.

Ok so I made a square on the floor with it and added a "danger tape door" so it made a danger tape room, sims go around it but don't get in.

It acts as a fence.

Yes! Did my own test as well and it acts as a kind of invisible tape. I did the green on my grass because I didn't want to fence in my nice open space backyard and still see the landscape beyond it, and it works just like a fence. This will also be helpful for parties in that I can "tape" around restricted objects in a home.
