I use the usual cheats then I have added a few that are important to me.

Some notes for the things that are special when using a keyboard with Swedish letters
It took me some trial and error to figure out that I needed the letter å when I wanted to make something larger. I usually build in the middle of the night when I am in the zone and everyone else is sleeping. I am not in the mood to look for the cheat then, most stuff only post the english
keyboad versions. The info is out there, of course, but I rather just have it written down for easy access. Middle of the night building as I said, creative yes, reasoning and logical thinking no.

Find your pet ID (you need this to kill your pet) sims.get_sim_id_by_name {PlayedPetFirstName} {PlayedPetLastName}

Kill your pet and turn it into a ghost traits.equip_trait Ghost_OldAge {Pet ID}


Eco footprints
I love making an area feel really run down or like magical green forest and the eco footprints really help with that. I wish there was a way to add a lot-trait that made rent go up so that you could make an individual lot really cheap or expensive. Then I would make a really industrial area that was really cheap and give my sims a reason to hoard all those simoleons in order to move into a expensive green area. I like playing in the world that have these effects added, trying to do this via gameplay just makes me mad. The meter moves to green to quickly and it flip-flops too much. At one point I made CC-wallpapers that boosted either the industrial value or the green value. Then I finally figured out that I was not having fun and now I just cheat it.

Parenthood cheats
I prefer to make my own townies. I play a sim for some time, everything from a few days to a few weeks to make it feel like an individual. After that I load them into a specific tray-folder and download them into future saves. Every now and then I give them one of the traits from the parenthood pack. Irresponsible, responsible, Mediator or Argumentative. Unfeeling or emotional control. I wish that the sims would use these traits by themselves, they give played sims more options but doesn't do much for npc-sims. Still, it is fun when your played sim has found a bestie to room with and when you add them to your household they have a less than stellar extra trait. Livens things up a bit.
