Oh, and they have plenty of resources. Not all companies do, but EA does. They're just not going towards The Sims. - A lot of people are looking into the word 'experience', but to be honest, I can easily see them calling things like the weather 'the new experience'. It just sounds more exciting.
- I don't want my expectations to be too high, so I think it is going to be a new game pack or maybe expansion pack.
- I think you should probably add Stuff Pack to this Poll, since I think there's a realistic possibility that could be it :'(
- The 'new experience' is another stuff pack. They said the same thing when they released Fitness. But a new direction (soon) is being able to sync your mobile game with the PC game to level up your Sims etc. That was planned in the beginning and I don't think that idea has been dropped just prolonged until console and mobile were released. We'll see if I'm right eventually. ETA: To back up my speculation and that is all it is, you already see you get stuff in one game if you get the other. There is going to be a whole lot more stuff like that and that checking up on your Sim's progress is not thrown in the trash yet.

Honestly I'm just expecting them to give us the least popular option because of the way they handle feedback. Or it could be VR because that's kinda like an experience.
Yup.. Im betting my 2 cents in VR "peeangg;c-16451152" wrote:

I don't think that many simmers pcs could handle VR equipment and I am sure you will be warned in advance before they introduce VR as you need the equipment and a computer that will handle it. So why offer VR without prior knowledge. It would be like making your game for console and you only have a pc. My pc handles VR - BUT - I don't handle it well at all, makes me extremely dizzy and ill feeling - I tested VR at a store - thought I'd like it - found out my stomach and head don't agree. But my pc was definitely listed to handle both of the versions I tried. So needless to say I will not be spending 500-1000 dollars on the system nor the games that offer it. Believe me ordinary motion sickness is a picnic compared to what I felt trying that. (I am running an 8 core 16 gig high speed gaming ram desk top with coolers system built for gaming and want to upgrade to an even higher 8 core this winter and maybe the newest Ryzen board - trying to convince hubby I need this (not going well- he thinks I am fine as is) - lol)
So I highly doubt that would be sprung on anybody -- aejp247 years agoSeasoned AceI don't know what it is but I'm guessing it's not a pack at all but maybe a big patch update or something that changes the game like online or multiplayer. I'm actually not at all excited because of so little news and no quarterly teaser. I wish they would have given us a hint or something. At this rate, it could be anything.

Probably just a STUFF pack tbh
Last year's EA Play also featured a stuff pack (Fitness Stuff). A "next Sims 4 experience" doesn't mean that this experience can't be announced before EA Play.
Though I'd love to have the Open World back, but I don't want to disappoint myself.
Yes but they didn't make a big deal about last years event. They are this year. I expect it's mainly a new EP/Gamepack for PC."elelunicy;c-16450876" wrote:

This does not help any, it just gets those of us who are skeptical, even more so.
Well it confirms that nothing will be released before EA Play (I doubt they’d let people play something that’s already released). If whatever that’s playable at EA Play is a game pack or a stuff pack then we won’t hear any news until early June at the earliest as those packs are only announced 1-2 weeks before release. The only way that we’d get any news before June is that a new EP is playable at EA Play.
So don’t expect news anytime soon unless you think a new EP is coming."simgirl1010;c-16450770" wrote:

"the next thing"
THING, I feel like the devs are trying to avoid using the word pack, either because it's not a pack or because it's a very special pack, or maybe it's just a stuff pack so they're keeping it vague to keep up excitement.
Yeah, I'm in the minority thinking it's not a pack.
If it’s not a pack then it would be free. I doubt they have enough resources to release something major for free. They haven’t released anything noteworthy for free since the toddler update, and given the recent budget cut news it’s even less likely now.
I wouldn't say nothing as the consoles will probably get some content next month. 4 packs,1 ep,2 sps and 1 gp just got registered to the console. I suspect Cats and Dogs will be the one Duke will be showing off at EA Play but the other 3 we may see release in May which is Parenthood,Kids Stuff and Toddlers stuff.
Pc Wise yes I don't expect anything unfortuanly till maybe Late June with the exception of Updates thru Patches. I'm hoping we'll atleast get some new content thru patches to make the wait easier.
