What's the point of "Computer settings"?

Yeah, it doesn't take the settings into account when you're first loading the lot. The same thing happens with locking doors. When you load a lot, the game will not check to see if the place it's planning to spawn a sim is behind a door that should be locked to that sim.
Annoying, but it's not too hard to interrupt the offending sim with a chat action or a group action. And thereafter they won't go back to that computer or door assuming it remains locked.
