I was so excited when the 2020 survey came out earlier this year, because I thought the Sims team was actually starting to listen. There were some amazing ideas on it. Better personalities, story progression, better romance, more complex traits.
But, none of them have been put into place. Instead, we have Star Wars, which nobody asked for :(
I've lost hope that this game will ever be fixed.
I would counter this by saying “well the survey was this year and this year’s packs have been in production since before the survey.” Just for another perspective.
HOWEVER, the other day I stumbled upon a post from like 2016 talking about a previous survey the Sims team had given players, and many of the things asked about still aren’t in the game all these years later. I wish I could remember where I’d seen the thread.
Maybe we’ll see more depth added next year or something.
