What's the point of the Vets?

My sim waited and waited and the poor cat died, while waiting to be treated :(
Never have I had a pet treated successfully there.

My sim couldn't go to the loo while waiting, every time her bladder bar stayed in the red.
And then no pet to bring home :(

Weird, I have never had a problem with my Sim taking her pet to the vet.

I have no patience for the vet exam and I just buy the wellness treats and give them to the pets when they are sick. I think they are cheaper than the vet treatment too.

Did you check in when you arrived at the vet? If you don't check in your pet isn't put in waiting line to be treated. And when they get treated it's best to always go for the expensive treatment, the cheap one doesn't always work.

Pets don't die from the ilnesses. You cat must have been very old and their time just came, sorry :( I don't know the reason for other problems, it works fine for me. Are you using the prebuilt vet clinic?

I've never had that problem either.

But these days, as mentioned above I just buy the wellness treats. My first visit that I have to make to the vet, I stock up on treats, give my pet one and leave immediately.

I thought pets cannot die from disease, only old age?

Anyway, I always stock up on the red Wellness treats. They cure sickness instantly. Vet clinics imo are for players who want to play the doctor's side, not for the pet owners.

I'm glad I read this thread I had no idea about the wellness trats, haven't really used any of the treats aside from aging down treat. Cats and dogs cannot die from illnesses, only old age.
