My stuff seems to break at the expected level for their quality. I get breaks, but they're not overwhelming or anything. (Although I did have one day where the Toilet AND the Shower broke, and the only Sim in the house with Handiness happened to be pregnant, and trying to use the bathroom! That wasn't fun... lol )
