Hi all - so my stuff kept breaking IMMEDIATELY after it was fixed. Turns out when i completed a home reno/house extension I forgot to extend THE ROOF - which is why all my electronic items in the area which was not protected by the roof - broke immediately and would never stay fixed.
I have Sims 4 Seasons - not sure if this would happen if you don't have seasons - but once the roof was fixed.. bam, all working fine!
My sim was also level 10 handiness so wasn't this (all items were already upgraded). There was a little bubble when you hover over the item when it was fixed (for 2 seconds) - which said 'electronics don't work in the rain'
