what's up with the hats?
Why are people showing up everywhere with weird hats on? A winter hat in the summer.during a heat wave looks so out of place. I go into a family to change the hat and in CAS it is not on the person.

- My biggest beef is seeing glasses pop onto the face of a Sim when you're selecting their pajamas! Those of us who wear glasses know you don't wear them to BED. Well, sometimes you might so you can see the TV screen (like my hubby) but one should remove them prior to seeking sleep!

Yeah I did find that site. I unable to open the files though.- I just wish they would quit redressing my families I play with. I have 4 families, they have their outfits and yet somehow they wind up with outfits I didn't choose, please stop.

What program are you using? I use 7-zip. It's a free download.- I wish they would do away with situation outfits alltogether. Tired of my not-currently played sims wearing awful outfits. I spend a good amount of time in CAS assigning outfits for them, as we do, and I feel that time is wasted when the game just throws some random stuff on them because there's a "situation". And most of them have that idiotic eyeball ring, that I'd never ever in a million years would put on any of my sims.
And yes, hats. Especially turbans. They look good on some people, but not half the population.

@Sharonia Um, okay. How does your computer know where to place the files? I have always had to extract mine manually because downloads is not the file where you need to place them to be able to use them. It also helps me to organize my mods by allowing me to put them in the correct subfiles when they can be nested."Anmirla;c-17065357" wrote:

I have always had to extract mine manually because downloads is not the file where you need to place them to be able to use them. It also helps me to organize my mods by allowing me to put them in the correct subfiles when they can be nested.
I usually just download files to a custom content folder that I made and then I just open the files one by one and copy them into the Sims 4 mods folder myself. I will definitely look into downloading something to open the weird file types though.- Ahh, okay.
Yeah, I just right click on the file in downloads, mouse over 7-Zip, select Extract files..., then select where I want it.
Just be careful to place any script files within the Mods file itself instead of nesting them to make sure they work (if you do nest).
