What's your ideal season length?

I'm really struggling to figure this one out. In TS3 I left it at default and made it so sims aged 1 year every 4 weeks. I played TS4 with the same lifespan on my saves where I wanted longer aging, expecting to have TS4 seasons last 7 days each. But the holiday system is amazing and I now want to create all the holidays I actually celebrate, as well as giving all my sims birthdays and anniversaries . But it would get too much and mean they are constantly celebrating holidays. So now I think each season being 3 weeks would actually work better, so I'm not rushing through them and then each week is one month. But then the lifespan would be ridiculously long, I already barely see my sims age when playing my longer lifespan. And what about my saves where I use a lifespan closer to the normal range in order to actually go through the generations? It would be weird to have such long seasons. This is going to take me awhile to figure out.
