What's your routine when a household is moving?

I only keep collectables/photos. I'll put it all into one sims inventory or a storage chest. Harvestables go into the household inventory. The house a household moves to will be empty to start fresh or it's already furnished to match the house.

I've made a habit of saving right before moving so that if I forget anything then it's not a big deal to reload. It's really annoying when you leave behind urns, bikes, and cars (previous games).
