Hell no.
The very last thing this franchise needs is multi-player. From a safety perspective it’s a big no no, not to mention if it were a multiplayer you most likely wouldn’t have mods or cc, micro transactions would be introduced and history has shown us that EA are not to be trusted making this sort of thing. Sim city 2013 anyone? The sims online?
There are plenty of games that work well as a single player. Not every game has to be multi player.
