When are you guys going to let players join each others game? Like play with other players?...... I think that would be awesome!
No. I'm sorry. But I don't want to see you in my game ?????
I feel the same about you. But then I'm sure if you were in my game, I could either close it to friends, go offline or simply kick you from it. I mean, that's how that would probably work.
Unless you honestly thought otherwise.
edit;
To the rest of the replies, I can't quite grasp how you're entirely opposed to multiplayer, something to potentially add more hours to the game to those of us with friends, yet you're fine with watered-down packs and partially-working if not broken basic features.
You seem to think people mean it personally, “I don’t want you in my game”. It’s not, I don’t want anybody in my game. Including the simmers I befriended over the years here. I love to see what their experiences are in the games, I love it when they share their stories or screenshots, that aspect has always been a valuable addition to enjoying my own game. But not?? In?? My?? Game??
Actually, your reaction is exactly what would happen. You think people mean something, it displeases you, and wham, immediately there’s talk of kicking someone out and ‘close it’. On Twitter I feel an atmosphere of simmers feeling left out already as it is, they feel they’re not part of the community because they don’t get as much likes as others, not enough followers. Imagine that would follow them in their games. I’ve been around here long enough to know there’s some serious bullying within this community (I could give you actual examples of that). The phrasing “those of us with friends” has a stingy undertone. It’s the way the popular kids tell the not so popular kids they don’t matter in the playground. As a parent, all my alarm bells go off at this point. You point out exactly why I’d hate it. Sims would, even more than it is now, become a game where you have to please others to be able to enjoy it all. Am I exaggerating? On Twitter I saw someone regretting the fact new simmers got thousands of followers in a flash because they did give aways (which they apparently can’t afford). That apparently has become highly important.
No, we’re actually not fine with watered-down packs and partially-working if not broken basic features. That’s another thing we fear. That a focus on multiplayer will mean the offline single player version will suffer. That’s exactly why we want them to focus on single player from the get go this time around.
