When are you guys going to let players join each others game?

Sims having multiplayer or becoming an MMO is not to my taste, if they decide to go that route then I will walk away from the Sims franchise. I do unfortunately believe it is possible they will do this sometime in the future though, because almost every franchise of single player game I have come to love has incorporated multiplayer in their sequels. Pure single player games with no sort of online or multiplayer component seem to be a thing of the past.
