When was the Last Sims 4 Steam Sale?

I know there was an Origin sale not too long ago since that is where I purchase my packs, but I am not sure about Steam. A friend's birthday is coming up and I would like to help her catch up on packs (she has no EPs so far and has the Steam version), but I find myself reluctant to purchase them full price. I know better than to try G2A or anything, but I am not sure if Amazon would really be a good fit either.

The Sims 4, the hit life simulation game, while packed to the brim with expensive DLC, can be gotten at a base level for $9.99 at 75% off. All of the DLC is on sale for The Sims 4.

Thanks for that. So a month and a half... Long enough for it to have been a bit, but not long enough to really expect it to be on sale again any time soon, huh?
  • New Steam sale on Sims 4 and and 3 now. *sigh* Right after I picked up something else as a gift.

    Hope it helps someone else!
  • Just wondering.. what is the difference between origin and steam? is steam somewhat better than origin?
  • Steam also have something called a steam summer sale where almost their entire library of games are discounted, which will probably be in June, so about two months from now.

Just the games they have. Technically they are both online game marketplaces tied to developers, but Steam definitely has a bigger variety and, in my opinion, more sales. If you want EA games, though, they are requiring Origin. So if you buy Steam, you sign up for them both there.

I'm one of those people that does overtly avoid the inconvenience of multiple launchers. I like all my games to be organized together, if possible, and multiple launchers running constantly slows computers down.
