My thoughts exactly. Loading screens are getting longer and longer and some worlds are already running slightly choppy (for me). All I have are the main expansions and parenthood, and about five CC hairstyles. To be fair, I don't have the best computer in the world by any means, so I am sure this much "stuff" would still run fine on other computers. But I remember very early on in Sims 4 life cycle, one of the devs said (on Twitter, I believe) that loading screens will get longer as more expansions, game packs, and stuff packs come out...by the end of the lifecycle we will probably have frequent, long loading screens if they don't prioritize optimization of the game engine. And even then I don't know if they will be able to update it for everyone...I just don't see how they can do that.
