When will the Sims 4 become too taxing for average users pc? 29 packs currently...

I updated my title post, added removed some thoughts and expanded on the cost of overhauling their engine recently. It also occurred to me that unless they are about to really shock us we will never get a hair color wheel (something I so dearly dearly want as I hate the limited choices currently in-game) because it might be far too taxing - but then again we CAN color pets hair so maybe not...I can only hope.
