This has me kind of paranoid. My 2016 laptop always would have issues with the performance with The Sims 4. Sure, at times when bug fixed patches came out or I added expansions, it would run smooth, yet on custom settings, but it got so much worse this year. I ended up having to try and make myself able to afford a new computer (PC/desktop this time) with one up on requirements that my laptop would have. It runs smooth now (hopefully I don't jinx myself) on Ultra (it automatically set it to that setting), but it is fairly new. I am hoping now that if it does get more taxing as I buy the packs (currently own ALL) to come, it won't show until much later on. Playing TS4 is like therapy for me with my IRL issues, so if I could no longer play, I'd be just about devastated.
