Just got seasons so I just played 28 days of winter and had Christmas and Chanukah celebrations for my sims already - I would make seasons longer if I could tbh so I could line them up more with real world seasons. I already play without aging on and I use mods to make pregnancies long too since I like a slow passage of time in my sims. I do enjoy decorating my main sims house for the holidays - it’s just that 28 sims days feels so short to rearrange my house and fully decorate. Usually I just have the patience to do it for one family

That's so funny as I shorten all my seasons to the shortest amount of time and have the holidays for my Sims be at the same time as RL holidays. It doesn't have to snow for Christmas. I grew up in south Florida and it was always sunny and 80 degrees.

I wouldn’t care if it was warm for Christmas, I just wish I could endless extend a season until I was ready to switch it, kind of like how I do aging lol.

What if you turned off the other season until you were ready for them. I think there is an option to turn off each season.

Oh cool is that an option? I’ll have to look in settings and see if I could do that. Thanks

My Sims get ready for Christmas everytime Winterfest rolls around.
  • I started my new family the May's off in autumn so they will be all set for the Christmas of their dreams.
  • I have put a house in SE in the mountain area for my May's family to go to for Christmas. Have it all decorated.
