- Will a sim ever answer the question if he's a mermaid or not. I made a love interst for my sim and the relationship bar is full but she's still offended by being asked the question. Why is this so?
- I just saw my first out of disguide merman. It may be a coincidence, but I was playing a CAS-created merman when it happened.
Mine was disguided, but the townie merman was swimming around in full view, true form exposed and all. Asked about being a merman the townie denied it. So half an hour later when he went into the water my merman followed him and summoned a Terror of the Deep on his lying backside. Poor guy went back to the shore immediately afterwards, where he kept standing like a pillar of salt, probably going What just happened?! - In me and my cousins game it is making

Yes when you are at least Good Friends with them they will. After that and they agree they are you can actually tell others of mermaid discovery- All I've had to do is make my sim go swim in the ocean and I've seen several mermaids.
- My sim befriended on of the mermaids and asked her the ultimate question. The answer was yes and now he can see mermaids all over the islands:
- Turns out, you have to expose them one way or another. If you can become close friends with one, you can ask and they'll say yes. All mermaids then start showing.
To make it quicker, you can also go to a public place and blow the "Ordinary" conch shell. Any mermaids in the area will run over and make the dolphin noises. You can then go into Friendly and "Ask about strange reaction", that will expose them also without needing to be close friends. - Any idea how to make your human sim turn into mermaid if your partner/lover already a mermen?
