Where are the storylines, plots, scandals & drama?

Without a memory system and the joke they call emotions all drama in this game has to be staged because it simply does not play out and even when a Sim cries in bed its forgotten never to be remembered again. I really don't see real life issues like violence and murder ever happening they would not even add in staking vampires so there is no chance of any violence to a Sim besides being burned alive by fire because that is acceptable.
