Where are the storylines, plots, scandals & drama?

You have to use mods if you want to make that in the sims 4.

The gurus have commented that they might be interested in doing disabilities, but apart from that they don't seem to be interested in adding any serious actions or consequences in their life simulator despite the game being rated T for teen (like Apex Legends or Fortnite) and featuring people burning and drowning to death.
