I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but there's a fantastic Youtube build video here, where James is turning a home build into multiple tiny apartments. I really like how he uses 'loft' space to make very tiny bedrooms and rooms for multiple singles, while keeping each apartment unique looking. I'm intending to try this build myself in a Zodiac challenge, and use the 'locking door' device to give each Sim the privacy of his/her own room.
