Because I turned on Autonomous Proposals in MCCC, they happen anywhere, out of nowhere, and completely take me by surprise when it does. I never know when to expect it. I've has proposals autonomously happen all over the place - during a date, right after WooHoo, in the kitchen after breakfast, watching a movie, while dancing at the nightclub, hanging out in the living room after some heavy flirting.. and I love it. I love the utter shock I get every time it happens <3
Are these any of your own Sims? Or just NPCs? I'm intrigued because I do have MCCC and ever have used that setting.
