When I found out live is pronounced similar to how you would say "I live on 4th street." I even loved just saying live mode :D
Wait...what?? it’s not live as in “we’re live in 3..” - SharoooniaNew SpectatorLive mode is where I spend most of my time. I love playing with all the different families.

Got a source for that claim? *skeptical*
Graham made a big deal about it in a live stream. (I think it was way back in TS3, but I remember thinking "nope, I prefer live, as in live from New York") - tcikesNew SpectatorBuild mode is where most of my gameplay is at. I can listen to several music albums while working on one single house. I spend the most time in it because it takes the longest amount of time to do right. While live mode lasts only as long as you want to, so it doesn't force you to play too long.
- elliebretonSeasoned AceMostly live mode (and I don't care how they say it, to me it will always be 'we are going live from times square) - some building and some cas.
- I rarely create new sims and only go into CAS when giving my existing family new outfits. Which is why I'm thankful for @Netzspannung for keeping us updated in her fashion thread. As I download all my lots I only go into build mode to redecorate my main family's home or community lots when new content is released. I'd say 85% live mode and 15% CAS/Build/Buy.
- I always think of it as in, “Live from NY! It’s Saturday night”, too.
Ok but how do you say “CAS”? I always spell out the letters in my head, but I hear youtubers call it cass like it’s a word. - SimburianNew TravelerI build empty houses so if I want to play with my Sims I have to decorate them which is not a favourite passtime for me. Maxis rooms helps a lot though. Stick them in the garden and use the objects and ideas!
Live as in live, give? I use Live as in ice, Lice, Rice, etc..... You use your way and I'll use mine. It's the beauty of the English language to change pronunciation according to the sense it is used :D "phantasmkiss;c-17092706" wrote:
I've spent most of my time in build mode. I love to build. I find building therapeutic. I've been working on actually playing, though. I started a challenge just so I'd play more.
But building... <3"EnjoyfulSimmer;c-17092613" wrote:

SimGuruGraham corrected this forum a few years back that it's pronounced live. As in, I live at 1313 Mocking Bird Lane :p
But I totally disgree with it, to me it's more like the light goes on in a studio and you are now Live. (In front of the camera).
I won't conform, lol
