Most of my vamps are in Forgotten Hollow, but I have clans in various neighborhoods. It's like the Sookie Stackhouse series, in that each world has vampires, and each world is ruled by their own leader.
They also focus on different powers: the San Myshuno ones are more social, so they are all immune to sunlight; the vampires of Windenburg focus on mind manipilation; the vampires of Glimmerbrook will all know Detect Personality and focus on gathering information for other clans. So if I want to know what vampire comes from where, I just need to know what vamp perks they've unlocked.
