Where oh where is the messages in the bottles?

My sim has been walking up and down both beaches in the new world for one sim week now, if not longer. There is no trace of a message in a bottle anywhere, I would really like to complete the collecti...

Ha. I spent this morning building an open-air Italian restaurant for that beach. It has a partial roof and a trellis.

This way I can send sims for dinner/lunch there and hunt for bottles before sending them home.

If they spawn at a reasonable hour, or the other sims that visit/live nearby aren't interested in collecting them, that is.
