My sim has been walking up and down both beaches in the new world for one sim week now, if not longer. There is no trace of a message in a bottle anywhere, I would really like to complete the collection and add it to my full collection room, but where are they? I know I can probably find them in debug, but so far each collection item I have was found or earned in game, I don't want to start cheating now ;) Thanks in advance for any help simmers <3

I think they are bugged.

You have to live in the neighborhood and wait a day then they spawn. That's what I have to do for all collectables in my game.

You're welcome. Also I only found them on the beach in the sand. The sand piles aren't easily spotted from high up, I had the camera low.Eta. My sim is living in the town neighborhood on the island and I don't have any mods in my game.

@mcrudd I have 10 unique bottles and here's a list of the moodlets my sims received when each was enabled separately (+1 from all).

Unrequited Love: flirty

A Grim Promise: tense
A Threat from Beyond: tense

A Lover's Grudge: confident
A Scandalous Invitation: confident
A Thousand Leaves: confident

Wow thanks for that info @lanlyn :) Those inspired ones will be super handy, I use them most in my game, some in kitchen for inspired cooking, some in kids rooms for their art and in studies for painting. It will look so much nicer than the plumbob lights I usually use ;)
