Where on the head/face do you hold to adjust the ears?

I have a problem that I'm trying to fix in CAS, and it involves the ears.
Somehow through genetics, the ears are so tiny they are almost not existent. In this case I would like to pull them out, otherwise, all my sims are forced to wear long hair to cover them. It doesn't matter how long the family has been going, this just won't clear up on its own.

Where do I grab to pull and push the ears? I've tried the ears themselves.
