Where to place my landfill
I downloaded a number of junkyards for a quick challenge that has my sims clean up all the junk, earn money from fabrication and eventually establish a container home neighborhood. So far, so well, now I need to decide where to place all those lots. The idea is that my characters are robots (as always, lol) that woke up at a giant, depressing landfill. No Sims 4 world really offers the backdrop, but some come close enough.
Foundry Cove (Willow Creek starter neighborhood) - Offers 5 lots and reasonably desolate backdrop. The community garden with the spawning vendor spoils the atmosphere a little.
Port Promise (Evergreen Harbour port neighborhood) - Wonderfully rundown, offers five lots, but is just across the canal from the still in use port facilities. I can see this area being abandoned, but it being used as a scrapyard would be a stretch?
Mirage Park (Del Sol Valley starter neighborhood) - This is where the Cahill junkyard is in my main save. The backdrop would perfectly fit the save's endgoal, the newly emerged container community, but look odd in the landfill stage. Also only three lots.
Moonwood Mill - Four or five lots and the visuals would fit the theme well, although I'd prefer an urban setting. My sims would also have to deal with werewolf neighbors, they'd never fully own the place. (Would the game spawn new weres if I deleted them all?)
Glimmerbrook - Four lost iirc. An odd choice based on the idea of the landfill in question being illegal deposits that amassed over time, not an officially waste management site. In this scenario my sims would actually end up as smallscale heros for cleaning up the forest, but the city council would definitely want them out afterwards to use the forest for tourism.
Mua Pel'am - Three lots. Another out of the left field choice, but canonically the island is heavily polluted. Maybe there was industry here in colonial times and after gaining independence the Sulani sims just used the site as garbage disposal. My sims could seamlessly transisition into conservationist gameplay, there's little not to like about this choice except that it's not my urban nightmare dream.
Out of these choices, which would you pick? Feel free to suggest "other" if you have a better idea, even though it's not included in the poll.
