Where's My Notebook?

I know there is a notebook on the computer, but is that the only spot? I'm out on location, asking about a suspect and than I'm suppose to make an arrest based on those answers which are to be found in my notebook. I'm wondering if I have to run back to the station and check the computer, or if I have a notebook on my sim somewhere so I can check it and make my arrest.

I have 3 icons the silence phone, battery and these diamonds but nothing happens when I click them.

There should be one to the left of the silence phone button.

Same problem but I don't have the icon in the picture at all. I had the same problem when buying a retail space. it shows up on the computer but not the phone.

I;ve tried on both PC and MAC. No notebook. I got rid of any phone related mods. No joy. Any thoughts?

OMG Swear I've been looking for the notebook for hours now lol so glad I searched this post! DUH! haha

I'll have to check with a new Sim but I wonder if the Notebook doesn't activate till there's something in it -- like when you find a new fish or breed a new frog or make a discovery. Maybe that's why people are not getting the Notebook icon? (I could check on my Sim kids' phone -- one's been fishing but not the other.)

I have looked all over my phone and looked in the internet for where it is, and I cant find my notebook. On my phone there are only 2 options. Silence phone and change background. I dont know if my game is brokem or not? Is there anything that can help?
