Which Balcony?

**(Sorry, check first comment for pictures, I messed up the poll options)**

I meant to post this in the Lots section, but there is no poll option there, so I decided to post here.


Which balcony style looks the best?


In case the pictures are not clear:

1. The second floor balcony has no columns or spandrels.
2. The second floor balcony has columns and spandrels, but no roof above those.

I'm not very knowledgeable about this kind of style, so I'm not sure if the second option is architecturally correct, even though I think it looks prettier. :)

    Yeah I tried a glass roof but there are just so many edges that it doesn't look nice. I'm not sure how a solid roof would look..
